I did notice that the quantumoptics-tests-amdgpu check failed, but since this PR only adds the benchmark script and the workflow file, I'm guessing it might be an unrelated flaky test or a timeout on the server side. Could a maintainer take a look or re-trigger the checks when you have a minute? Let me know if you need me to make any tweaks to the benchmark script! |

Resolves #407.
This PR introduces an automated benchmark suite utilizing BenchmarkTools.jl. It tests the Schroedinger, Lindblad, and MCWF time evolution solvers. A GitHub Action workflow has been added to automatically trigger these benchmarks on new commits to track performance regressions.
