Pull request overview
This PR updates the project README to reflect current CI/badge status and to document how to build with the purego build tag.
Changes:
- Commented out the AppVeyor badge (no longer shown in the rendered README).
- Added a “Purego” section with a
go build -tags purego .example. - Cleaned up minor README formatting/spacing near the footer line.
