Web Hook URL is limited to 256 characters - new Microsoft Power Automate URL's are longer #117
Description
Microsoft announced that is undertaking a necessary infrastructure upgrade to support platform enhancements and new features at runtime.
The URL used in Power Automate flows as triggers changed and have a different format and length. Until November 30, 2025 the smart buttons that are triggering my flows using the old URLs are working, but after this date, if we don't change the URLs with the new one, the Smart buttons will break.
I changed the old URL with the new one but the buttons are not working anymore. In Dynamics 365, I'm getting a connection error.
I tried the same thing in Factorial API where I use the same method to trigger a Power Automate Flow using a webhook URL and I got the same issue with the new URL.
The old URL had 226 characters and the one has 283. I believe this is a character limitations, because in Factorial, I shortened the URL using shorturl.com or tinyurl.com and successfully saved the change. I made a request in Postman using the short URL and it was a success. But Smart Buttons are not working with the short URL. I'm getting an unexpected error in Dynamics 365 and my flow is not triggering.
Can you please check if this is the issue and how can be solved? After November 30, 2025 all people using this kind of smart buttons will have this issue.

I can confirm this, and have decided to change the buttons to javascript instead - And then use the new command bar builder instead

I'm also sure about this issue.
My use case involves the Ribbon workbench directly calling the Power Automate webhook URL within Power Apps (model-driven). I'm also encountering the URL length update problem, which ultimately truncates the URL. My final solution will be to change it to a JS call to the webhook.
