64GB SD card almost full after installing the OS

Not sure if only me but I tried 2 64gb sd card already and the same issue, I installed the OS using the installer then after installing it's like 1.5gb left from the sd card, I did not even transfer any rom.

Can you please identify which version (stable, nightly, sprig, or twig) that you selected in the installer, and which device you are using this for?

I just had the exact same problem with the latest 1.4 installer for Windows. I was able to fix it by formatting my 64GB SDCARD using Rufus just before installing using the Windows installer. After I formatted with Rufus, it actually showed all my SDCARD space free again. After that the Windows installer did what it does, but it left the space available this time, so now I have 3.28 GB used instead of 2.5GB available.
By the way, the installer is REALLY slick, it is by far the most professional retro emulator OS installer I have seen. Believe me, I have seen many of them. I'm not sure what the deal is, but Windows 11 actually told me that the missing 56GB of space was used by "system files" that it was unable to provide any details for.

FYI, I brought up the details of the 64GB SDCARD in Windows. There was about 55GB or so that was mysteriously unavailable. Windows actually classified the space as being used by system files, but it would not or could not provide any details on what was actually taking up the space. It said something like the files are required to run Windows or something similar.
