Resolve the remaining dependency upgrades as compatible groups: Vite 8/React plugin 6/jsdom 30 with a matching Node baseline, plus ZIP 8, X25519 3 and ChaCha20Poly1305 0.11. Keep Vitest 5 and preserve the existing locked versions of unrelated direct dependencies.

Replace eight deprecated nonce slice constructions with fixed-size array conversions without changing the wire format. Add regression vectors generated with ChaCha20Poly1305 0.10.1 and X25519 2.0.1 to verify unchanged ciphertext/decryption, public keys and shared secrets.

Validation: 943 frontend tests, production build, lint, version/update-channel contracts, production npm audit, Cargo check and Clippy passed. A cross-version probe also passed bidirectional decryption and X25519 identity/shared-secret comparisons. 732 Rust tests and the two committed compatibility regressions passed locally. PDF QA and both PWA offline/recovery browser tests passed. The exact-head frontend/PDF/PWA CI and CodeQL gates passed; the full Rust CI also passed on the exact PR head. CodeQL alert #15 was confirmed to be the intentionally public test-vector key inside #[test] and dismissed as used in tests; no queries or production alerts were suppressed.

This consolidates the upgrades requested in #31, #33, #34, #35, #36 and #38. #39 is already superseded by Vitest 5 on main. The v1.3.0 draft release (#41) and its artifact/key-backup/migration gates remain separate; no desktop release publication is included.
