Issue with environment select on collection and folder level not cascading down to requests

I am having an issue where I select my environment on a collection level or folder lever and have them inherit from their closest parent.

In a folder I have several request and it proving frustrating to manually select environment especially when I import a new collection and there is a danger of having mixed environments at one go and end up sending requests to the wrong environment.
