[Bug Report][3.7.6] No focus indicator for closable chips inside v-autocomplete in Safari #20792
I found that Safari seems to block tabbing to <button> elements by default. I was able to reproduce this bug only after going into Safari settings > Advanced > check "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage"
It seems removing border-radius: 9999px on .v-chip also makes the focus indicator appear.
If we can't remove these styles on the chip, maybe we can give it a fake focus ring by using outline: none and some sort of box-shadow?

Seems like the broken focus indicator for Safari is caused by
overflow: hiddenfrom this line: https://github.com/vuetifyjs/vuetify/blob/master/packages/vuetify/src/components/VChip/VChip.sass#L12prestonyford commentedon Dec 3, 2025
