Summary

Adds the faf plugin — the Foundational Context Layer for Grok Build.

  • Auto-discovers project.faf as the single source of truth
  • ZEPH-powered AI-readiness scoring
  • Path-first grounding (cwd-relative discovery; always surfaces absolute path)
  • SessionStart discovery + receipt (fail-open)
  • Skills: faf-context, faf-score
  • MCP surface: live hosted grok-faf-mcp (IANA-registered application/vnd.faf+yaml)

Source

Ownership

Wolfe-Jam is the FAF Foundation / author of the FAF format (IANA-registered), faf-cli, and grok-faf-mcp. Brand domains: faf.one.

Validation

  • python3 scripts/validate-catalog.py
  • python3 scripts/generate-plugin-index.py (regenerated + --check)

Security / scope

  • Least-privilege: hosted MCP URL + two skills + one fail-open SessionStart hook
  • No arbitrary code execution, no secret exfiltration
  • Network endpoint declared: https://mcpaas.live/grok/mcp/v1 (Streamable HTTP)
  • SessionStart script: walk-up / git-root discovery of project.faf only; writes a local receipt under plugin data dir

Install (after merge)

grok plugin install faf --trust

(or via Marketplace → xAI Official once listed)

Keywords / domains

Brand-scoped for CTA: faf, project.faf, faf.one, ZEPH, IANA, foundational context layer · domains: faf.one
