  Final year university project: an Android navigation app designed to improve the safety of vulnerable people such as the elderly and disabled.

  • Displays streetlight locations so users can choose well-lit routes.
  • Dynamically re-routes paths to prioritize safer streets.
  • Provides haptic vibration navigation cues (left/right) so users don’t need to look at their phones.

• PhunParty – Mobile App
  React Native (Expo Router, TypeScript)
  Developed the cross-platform mobile app where players join trivia sessions via QR code and answer questions from their devices. Focused on client-side architecture, session joining logic, and UI/UX design.

• PhunParty – API Backend
  Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, Linode
  Designed and implemented the backend API that powers game sessions, including session management, trivia question handling, and database persistence. Deployed to Linode with PostgreSQL integration and tested for scalability.

• PhunParty – Web Host
  React (Tailwind)
  Collaborative project component: built the hosting interface where users can create trivia sessions, generate questions, and display session QR codes for players to join.
