CV_Builder is a Java Swing-based GUI application developed as part of a university coursework project. It provides a user-friendly interface for building a structured Curriculum Vitae (CV), which is saved in a .csv file format. This makes it easy to open, edit, or share the CV using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

🚀 Getting Started

🧰 Prerequisites

• Java Development Kit (JDK) 11 or higher
• Apache Maven (for dependency management and building the project)
• A Java IDE like IntelliJ IDEA or NetBeans (This project was developed with this IDE) (optional but recommended)

▶️ Running the Application

1. Clone the repository:

For Bash and Powershell

git clone https://github.com/cWalsh-developer/CV_Builder.git
cd CV_Builder

2. Compile and Run

For Bash

javac -d out $(find src -name "*.java")
java -cp out cvbuilder.App

For Powershell

New-Item -ItemType Directory -Force -Path out
javac -d out (Get-ChildItem -Recurse -Filter *.java | ForEach-Object { $_.FullName })
java -cp out cvbuilder.App
